Hello, I'm
Alexander Sanchez
MS Computer Science @ NYU Tandon School of Engineering
Class of 2027
Full-Stack Engineer exploring the intersection of Distributed Systems and Cyber Security. Currently diving deep into cloud architecture, database internals, and penetration testing.
Projects
Airport Parking Platform
A secure, high-concurrency reservation platform engineered for multi-airport infrastructure. Utilizing a decoupled architecture, the system manages real-time inventory synchronization and complex booking logic across diverse travel hubs, with a backend optimized for regional expansion and high-traffic seasonal loads.
Nightwalkers
A safety-focused navigation PWA that generates heatmaps by synthesizing NYC Open Data with user-submitted crime reports. It features a community-driven forum where residents can post sightings and react, directly influencing the routing engine's safety scores to help commuters avoid high-risk areas.
SHEMS
A secure energy monitoring panel using Raw SQL and PostgreSQL for complex analytics. Built for NYU’s Principles of Database Systems, it bypasses the ORM to implement manual transactions and parameterized queries, ensuring high-integrity data management for IoT-simulated devices.
